Toplists have the potential to be laden with text for Google to feed upon. Encourage webmasters signing up to your list to write lengthy descriptions for their site (forget about allowing them to display banners). If they don’t, either reject their site or add a description of your own.

Toplists will end up getting dozens of sites in the same niche linking to yours, again great for the search engines.

With 2257 in mind, toplists are also one of the legally safest types of site for an adult webmaster to run.

Once you get decent traffic, you can put your favourite sponsor at the top of your list (yea I know, it’s a fix).

Toplists are easy to run.  I wrote my own scripts for mine but there are plenty of cheap scripts you can buy that have a host of features for you to  utilize.  Toplists are great!
